Ripe cherry & blackberry, high spicy notes, cigar, cocoa, leaher and liquorice, all very subtle and perfectly integrated. Long intense and full bodied but elegant. Bodega Matarromera is family owned with 9 wineries in 6 DOs. The Emina Ribera winery is in the prestigious Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero at the Santa María de Valbuena Monastery, where the Cistercian monks grew best vineyards in the 13th c. Aged for 16 months in French oak & over 30 months in the bottle. Serve at 16ºC with mature cheese, roasts, stews, grilled red meats.
